Usually my design focus is on events and special occasion stationery. However, with the Covid-19 pandemic, people getting together for large gatherings is ill advised. Therefore, the event and special occasion stationery market is quite slow at this time.
Because Zazzle is one of my fulfillment partners, I was able to pivot towards products that are needed during the pandemic. Zazzle was very quick to provide customizable face masks and face shields. There were some growing pains at the beginning because these were completely new products for the North American market, but Zazzle now seems to have those sorted.
As of today, Zazzle has 3 different types of fabric (non-medical) face mask designs that can be purchased with custom graphics on them. One of the mask designs that is available features sizing for ear loops to help fit different sizes of people’s faces. Zazzle also has a customizable face shield available in sizes for adults and children.
In addition to fabric face masks and face shields, Zazzle has also added customizable travel size and packet hand sanitizer. These products are bought in bulk and are a nice choice for favors for some of the small weddings and other celebrations that are taking place during the pandemic. They are also nice for business promotion.

Wasootch Fashionable Face Masks
Let’s face it. Wearing masks is hard to get used to. They aren’t the most comfortable item to wear, but they do seem to help control the pandemic. So it’s a good idea to wear one.
To make it a more enjoyable experience, you might as well wear one that is fashionable and fun and suits your personality. I’ve added some designs in the hopes you’ll find a mask you’ll enjoy wearing.
As mentioned above, Zazzle does have three types of customizable face masks available for sale. This collection includes my designs on all three types.
- 1st type is a polyester two-layer one size fits most face mask cover where you can include an optional inner filter of your choice.
- 2nd type is a two-layer (one polyester, one cotton), one size fits most mask where you can purchase different ear strap lengths for improved comfort.
- 3rd type is a two-layer, one size fits most cotton mask. This last mask has a quicker production time as it is printed after it is produced. Therefore the design space is smaller.

Wasootch Unique Face Shields
A lot of people are deciding that face shields are more comfortable to wear than a mask. They are often thought of as a good choice for younger children as well.
Just like with masks, it’s nice to wear ones that have a unique look that suits your personality. Or wear one that gives others a laugh during these challenging times.
Zazzle has now added face shields for kids and adults that can feature all sorts of custom designs. I have designed 49 unique face shields so far and will add more soon. Personalized Travel Size Hand Sanitizer Bottles and Packets
Zazzle has been dedicated to providing products people might need throughout this challenging time. In this spirit, they have now introduced travel size hand sanitizer bottles and hand sanitizer packets that can contain whatever custom graphics you want and can be personalized as well.
This means these can be used as favors for small weddings, birthday parties, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, baby showers, bridal showers, etc. It’s a sign of the times after all!
These items are intended to be bought in bulk and work as party favors, business promotional items and stocking stuff/gifts.
